After months of teasing, Ford has finally unveiled the Ford Puma. Unlike the old Puma which was a small, smartly styled front-wheel-coupe, the 2020 Ford Puma is a smartly styled compact crossover. The Puma gets a rounder and a livelier front fascia. The sleek and stylish design study features an expressive face with high-mounted headlamps, smooth, sculpted lines, a low, sloping roofline, pronounced wheel arches, and a sleek silhouette.[gallery size="full" ids="9811,9812,9813,9814"]Inside the Puma features an interior similar to all the new generation Fords. However, the Puma crossover proportions offer a bit more space in the boot. The new Ford Puma uses innovative solutions to maximize load space. With a class-leading uncompromised luggage capacity of 456 liters, Puma can accommodate a box 112 cm long, 97 cm wide and 43 cm high with the second row of seats folded. More than just a large luggage space, it’s a clever luggage space, too.[gallery size="full" ids="9815,9816,9817,9821"]Ford packs the Puma with plenty of available technology. You get active cruise control, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and lane-keep assist, the Puma is available with Ford’s CoPilot360 limited autonomous system that can operate in stop-and-go traffic. A wide-view rear camera offers a 180-degree look of the surroundings – a feature that Ford says is a first for this segment – and both Andriod Auto and Apple CarPlay are offered at no charge. Everything is commanded through an 8-inch central touchscreen, with another 12.3-inch digital screen used for the instrument cluster. A 10-speaker stereo is the range-topping sound system, and you can even get massaging seats.[gallery size="full" ids="9818,9819,9820"]The 2020 Ford Puma is powered by a 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder hooked together with a 48-volt mild hybrid system that powers the front wheels which will make a combined power figure of either 123 Bhp or 153 Bhp. Ford says the Romanian-built Puma will go on sale in Europe by the end of the year.
